Pumpkin Painting - October 12th-16th

We have some amazing artists in our office! Everyone loves our annual pumpkin painting contest. And this year did not disappoint! Check out all of the amazing creations our employees came up with! We opened it up to voting this year, so everyone had the chance to vote for their favorite. We had 5 pumpkins that had the most votes, making a first place, second place, third place, and 2 honorable mentions :)

Caramel Apple Cafe - October 7th

Yay for Caramel Apples! The Fairies set up shop in Katie's Office and made customized Caramel Apple Slices :)

We gave everyone a variety of topping choices, including peanut butter drizzle, chocolate chips, toffee bits, oreo cookies, M&M candies, and cinnamon sugar. And we had Apple Cider too!

Martin's Birthday

Martin (our COO) had a birthday a few weeks ago. We celebrated with a giant cake! And gave him a really cool present!

Us fairies worked really hard on his present, and needless to say, Martin loved it! We made him his very own "Martinopoly." Each square was customized. Each color was a different department at Davinci, including "Martin's Boardwalk" and "Bill's Parkplace." We glued pieces and cards on the board and framed it in a shadowbox so Martin can cherish it forever :)

October Culture Calendar

October 1st: Cake Day! We celebrated October birthdays with some yummy Dirt Cups

October 7th: We will have a Caramel Apple Cafe, complete with all sorts of toppings for your apple and some homemade apple cider!

October 12: Pumpkin Painting begins! All of the departments have all week long to create their very own masterpiece on a pumpkin. The best team pumpkin wins!

October 15th: Team Building Haunted House. Every year we go to Nightmare on 13th (one of the best haunted houses here in Utah). It's a favorite activity, and everyone loves it. 

October 23rd: Haunted Potluck. Everyone will bring something spooky, creepy, or scary (and delicious) to share!

October 26th: Desk Decorating begins! This is one of the biggest decorating competitions of the year. Everyone loves going all out and covering their desks with amazing decorations. Who will be the winning team this year?

October 26th through 30th: Dress up Days.

Monday - Decades! Come dressed in your favorite flashback outfit from your favorite decade!

Tuesday - Character Day! This includes your favorite book, movie, TV, video game, or fairytale character

Wednesday - Scary Monsters! Spook everyone with a classic monster costume like a vampire, witch, zombie, or werewolf.

Thursday - Team Day! Each team will decide what they want to dress up as as a team. This is always a fun one we do every year.

Friday - Where whatever costume your heart desires :)

October 30th: Halloween festivities in the Cafe! We will be brewing up some yummy potion along with some spooky treats to share. You can also find out which ghoul family you belong to!

October is one of Davinci's favorite months, can you tell? WE LOVE HALLOWEEN! :)

Community Event - 5K for Intermountain Healing Hearts

On Saturday, we attended a 5K Walk at the Draper City Park to support Intermountain Healing Hearts. This charity supports families of children and adults with congenital heart defects and childhood onset heart disease in Utah. A few of us walked, and a ton of our employees helped donate money to this charity. One of our employees as been helped personally by this charity, so we wanted to show our support :)

Pet Rocks - September 10th

We love Craft Days at Davinci! This month, we made our very own pet rocks for the office! Since we can't bring our real furry friends to the office for a "Pet Day" we decided to make our own!
